At least you need to transfer pin code also.
And you will need 7th byte of that CS

Everything is the same in the ECU and CCM... VIN, PIN etc... Only MAC ECU is different. I am not able to change it. :(

Then i scanned for 7th byte.
They came with 00.

And the tango gave error message, but did show the correct pin, and 2 keys.

oops, I broke eeprom during re-soldering. Is it better to buy new eeprom and simply program it with dump, or buy new CCM, read old dump, enter pin, reset, and use my pin ?

There is 100% problem in Eeprom. If i copy in the CCM another dump, then it is communicating and accept pin w/o problems.

2) Another solution is if someone is able to transfer complete immo data to another dump. Dump is from another car. CCM module is the same number. This eeprom is ok.

Hi, I know this is a locksmith forum, but my topic is a bit about this and I really need your help, as I m lost/desperately.

Have a Passat Variant B7 (2012), tailgate-lock got a short circuit recently, since than the CCM is controlling the lock the other way round, at least it opens all the time. Lock got replaced, but issue did not get solved. I have plugged in a 2nd- hand CCM (identical code 3AA959433B, S0638/H043) and the lock is closing correct and can be opened via the tailgate button. Can that re-coded with VCDS? Else I would need to change CCM, right?
However, as there is different immobiliser in 2nd-hand CCM, the ignition cannot be switched on and therefore the control unit cannot be read out with VCDS.


There are wild descriptions of how to de-solder the EEPROM of the immobiliser and solder it to 2nd hand CCM. Supposedly it should work directly plug-and-play after soldering. To be honest, however, this is a big challenge for me and I'm worried about messing it up and losing the immobiliser data. What would I do then? Any fallback?


Is there any way around soldering or is this the only solution? If so, can I save those data from the EEPROM before soldering? How do I do that? tools?

You can read the EEPROM in circuit with a clip then write it to the 'new' unit, again with a clip.
I have done read & write of this EEPROM plenty of times in circuit without any problems when doing keys.

What im not sure is if copying the dump from the 95320 EEPROM to yours is enough to effectively clone the unit or whether anything else is needed?

There are 2 different options to read and write the 95xxx eeprom: on board and on programmer.
Most cheap clone programmers are good for reading direct on programmer (not on the board).
