2004 Hyundai 1.5 CRDi takes seconds to start

Here we have a 3cyl 12V 1493 diesel

No chance to read DTC cause I don't scan Hynudai, btw there's no Check engine light on.

The engine takes some seconds to start, not a battery or starter problem, fuel filter is new.

It's 22 degrees here so I think we can forget glow plugs.
And glow plugs light go out quickly like it is supposed to do.

It starts ALWAYS an the idle is 700 +/-100 rpm as written in "the egg program" http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/light_skin/wink2.gif

But during massive start attempt the engine for one time only it started at 300 rpm,
then sits at 300 rpm and keeps running at 300 rpm, then driver hit full throttle but
no answer, engine still at 300 rpm!
(Never seen before)
Again no Check engine light on (when will it light up, on Christmas onlyhttp://www.treddi.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/blink2.gif)

Is it a frequent problem in this "love you long time engine" or not?

Customer will send the car to Hyundai to receive a scan.

Big omissis:
if after start the idle is 700rpm, you hit throttle and the engine DOES RESPOND.

Let's say 14 in 15 the engine start slowly and idle is ok, so it is throttle response.
Let's say 1 in 15 the engine start slowly and idle is extremely low, AND NO throttle response.

Not an EGR fault so.

Customer is far, told him to go elsewhere for scan/repair, in the future I'll report what was the problem.
Stay tuned for more fun.

OFF TOPIC:-

Did have couple of years ago a "Wootang Special MK76"
same common rail duesel, no live data no codes, no start.

Member of team-meat decided to CTS (crank the sh t) then 2 mins of ccranking eaearthworm
engibe block caught fire, new earth on engine block, INSTANTKY started, never see it again!

fault codes, fuel pressure on cranking , engine speed on cranking , blank the egr if possible - report
if dont have diagnostics abilities do injector leak off test to eliminate or find the problem

Earth on eng block was the first thing we tried.
Didn't help, that's why I wrote row 7 in post 1.

Will let you know what's the problem, stay tuned for more rock'n'roll.

SOLVED

Was the throttle body.

Replace and bin the old.
