actually if you go to all Chinese seller you can view that all car feedback for their tools are copied from this thread...
they have copy a lot of my feedback without my permission...
so dk member give a big push to obdstar to make investment and sell their tool in big quantity
obdstar make the software and we are the person who test what work and what dont work on car...
but these day this tool is going worst...if you update many function wont work and it still unstable....
so there should be REAL free update for us

Tried vw amarok 2015 today via golf 24c64 white meters all fail. dont support send log file
What tool did you use to do dash on this vehicle - i also same issue with x100pro

x100 does not even do some 2012 passat b7, digi did not do that also, fvdi was of no help too, dp4 did that dash in the end.

Try this:
1. Put car on contact (press start button)
2. Remove battery from key!
3. Hold key to the steering wheel box (on the right side there is a symbol located! Hold the key on this symbol.
4. Do mileage correction.
5. Release key from steering wheel and replace battery.

Tried doing a 2010 Mazda 6 today and the machine would not connect to the car and was making a ticking noise Simler to digiprog3 when it connects like a relay noise x300m and x100pro both did the same thing ???
What I then did was unplug the obd plug start the car a couple of times and then tried again and all was ok both machines worked and the relay noise gone ????????
thought this info migh be of help to a member one day

Read eeprom .......ok,but dump have same bit different ,read not all correct. All checked in hex editor BDM dump and obd2 away dump.
Read flash............100% ok.For write back not have funktion for this:(.But this dump can write avdi/fvdi without problem.:)
Write eeprom ....... Not want write, samething try to do but not, show like fail .Nothing kill, bsi stay ok.........:)

Probably its only for old type dash .Car which year maximum ........2012.

the company destroyed our tools for nonsense upgrade, and when your upgrade subscription was lapsed, you need to pay for it to put your tool in a garbage

just a thought when i bought my unit it said free updates for 3 years this thread started in october 2015 i didnt buy mine till 2016 so you should be updating it still but i havent seen a proper update for ages (one that worked) no one expect updates for life free but it is reasonable to expect you to honour what you originally said if the unit cannot be updated because of new technology then tell people and dont keep removing programs that worked .no eqipment works forever thats the nature of the business.

We are willing to pay in updates than to replace by a new machine, but how we will pay if we experience a problem in new update?
If you are in our position, will you pay for update that never work?

Not only me who experience this problem, esp in X300DP updates, before I update to a new software my xdp work and now my x100 is better than my X300DP

New mail and the answer.....AAAAAH you have to use CAN filter with Benz!!!!!!

What is st12 for ezs? X300m is all obd..?
Anyway. W211 should go by obd, try again and after, remove battery 1min.
If not then use digiprog.

And w246 cannot do without filter (even if you do get known version). Not with any tool as far as I know, so don't blame obdstar.
There are many topics on this forum on how and where to put canfilter. Invest time in reading and learning and don't expect you can do everything with a 250dollar tool from china.

And don't be a dick, don't use capital's please.

w246 can be done without filter, but obdstar junk doesnt make that. I have never succeeded on any w246 with obdstar. Even passat b6 failed with obdstar :D :D . Some ford mondeo 2013 or 2014 obdstar couldnt do... ... ...

just a thought when i bought my unit it said free updates for 3 years this thread started in october 2015 i didnt buy mine till 2016 so you should be updating it still but i havent seen a proper update for ages (one that worked) no one expect updates for life free but it is reasonable to expect you to honour what you originally said if the unit cannot be updated because of new technology then tell people and dont keep removing programs that worked .no eqipment works forever thats the nature of the business.

Said many times, X100 Pro almost has no upgrade in future.

Didn't remove working software, but no one believe.

You need to buy their new tool, their only customer service is taking your money when you buy new tool, if that has issues they release again new tool to fix problems instead of updating to make even more money.

Actual Toyota Corolla clusters there are two options from different manufacturers.
Those released by VDO Siemens can be adjusted by OBDII.
And those that are released Denso, you must disassemble.

None of the instrument clusters, which was released by Denso, can not be corrected by OBDII.
All instrument clusters that are installed on the all Camry model, are issued by Denso.
So don't wait for the cable solution. It's impossible.
Only the new XV70 series is equipped with a Denso or VDO clusters.

You can only adjust some panels, without disassembling the instrument cluster, connecting to the Denso control points.
But the Obdstar company does not release such a tool and will never release it. :)

car has x km after correction, few months ago car was at a service at a dealer with x multiplied by 5times km, that is the biggest isseue most people miss most of the times :D: . Doing dash km properly is a basis for proper job, need to do assyst, ecu, airbag ecu hours(then it is all original, people should stop playing with used clusters, then there would be easier job to correct the car)... not easy job for the unexperienced :D.

And tody i have a Ford Fiesta bj 2011 in the 30 seconde....

2017 gm 1500 works, dp tablet

2018 GM 1500 works only km not hours but read hours ok & programmed success
but hours in cluster show no change, obdstar tablet. I followed all instruction
shown on the tablet.
