well..if you read carefully the second row of my post thats sometimes bcose the continuous updates. In this case some user brave (or crazy enough) to do something risky. Like doing the job under another car settings

Yes. But it probably Will not work.
I don't know if a8L is same as a8. But with digiprog a8 2004 mostly don't work with standard option. Digiprog can flash the dash, then it does work.

That sucks.
I have x100 and x300m.
X100 is indeed useless now, less updates. In last update there was Ferrari on x100. But not volkswagen c64 2014 and up. That's because the x100 has old hardware, the tool is technically not possible to change new volkswagen.

But you have to be honest. The x300m is a good tool. It is good quality, and it is not a clone. It is original tool for a very low price. Also x100: It can do panamera by obd. That's not even possible with x-tool smok fvdi avdi and digiprog 4 and more..

Yes. Thats golf7.
But probably it don't work, since volkswagen 24c64 from 2014 and up (like caddy, touran.. ) with earlier updates also didn't work (and golf7 nec35 2013 didn't work).

But if you don't try then we don't know ;). It might work

Yes. In golf 7 24C64 and Nec35 don't work. I have X300M since july 2017 and I have the last update, 23.11.2017, and don't work. I think the best is buy other device because this device only is valid for any cars that is possible change the dashboard with more cheap device

I tried picking both small screen and big screen selections. Screen goes blank, x100 throws the security function error and cluster comes back. thoughts?

Yes it was via obd. I can't remember what the cluster looked like but it was definitely a 2016

I can confirm it does not work on astra J 2012, zafira C 2013. It works on some cars before 2011 for example insignia 2010.

1 - Connect OBDStar and read mileage
2 - Change to new mileage
3 - remove Instrument cluster and set the mileage to zero manually
4 - installed the cluster to a car, you will see zero value displayed from cluster,
5 - switch ignition to ON position, the cluster takes mileag from BCM

Sorry i thought it was same like VW polo , vento, and scoda , we do service mode in that 24c32 dump after 2010 The service mode comes address on D80. and also we don't have Vw caddy in my place...........

I tried xc60 (same cluster).
2009. Didn't work.

So best not to use on Volvo.

And you have 2012, that doesn't work at all!
From 2011 there is active cem-module. You need to change both or block cem. Best to use special programmer for Volvo.

no, mine xc60 is from '09.
digiprog can do up to 2010, maybe beginning 2011. but defenitly not 2012

Yes. Using fiat 500 menu it reads mileage correctly but couldn't change. Using Ford menu and selecting (five hundred) it doesn't even communicate.

Anybody have any problem with this device like no communication or anything do as follows

1, Connecting x-100pro-- Staring up x-100pro-Pressing “option”-Pressing “Data Logging”-Pressing “on-”Pressing ESC - Back to the main menu.
2, Operate the normal procedures to mileage adjustment.
3, When it fails to adjust , power off the machine.
4. Pull out TF card where there is a LOG file.
5. Send the LOG file to Obdstar technical person can analyze the data for you.
Note: Every time you power off the machine, Data Logging is "OFF". So if you want to save the data next time, please follow the above procedures.

i have x300m, its not in update program yet. but i'm just giving info from website. it probably comes in short future.. (and even when it already was listed in the update program, then it doesnt mean it works yet.. but it's good to know they are working on french cars now).

it didnt work with software update!
i tried with x100 pro & x300m. v30.26 didnt work. with v30.21 it did work!

1. Put car on contact (press start button)
2. Remove battery from key!
3. Hold key to the steering wheel box (on the right side there is a symbol located! Hold the key on this symbol.
4. Do mileage correction.
5. Release key from steering wheel and replace battery.

I thnk someone said they are upgrading Servers, into middle of March Still...
