By what tool? I read PCR2.1 ID with kess and it mentions if ecu is locked or unlocked

hi jameshal18 i have fgtech 2012 and mpps v13, mayde fgtech2014 soft say something but dont find it enywhere.
and what happened if its locked and i try new soft to ecu?
And i tryed to make myself ergoff file is this okay?

Dont try write with locked ecu. I am scared of what will be the result. You must be sure it is unlocked. maybe borrow any kess only for this .i dont know.

Cam Phaser Lockouts will completely lock the cam timing in the fully advanced position and will eliminate movement and noise associated with failing cam phasers. Cam phaser knock is a common problem in the 5.4 3V Ford Trucks especially in higher mileage or fleet applications. The billet blocks are installed into the stock cam phasers creating a fixed timing gear with no internal moving parts. Fully advanced cam timing will aid in low end torque, just what the 5.4 trucks really need.
Looking to Tune the PCM.. someone please help..
