Hi al70, I think that if you remove the immobilizer in the ecu you don't need to disassemble the dashboard.

If the car does not crank, something else is wrong since it will crank fine even without ECU.
You do need to write in bootmode indeed, but with ori MPPS this should be no problem.

for what reason, you shared the Counter Eeprom from Seat

Three keys were there from the beginning, unfortunately, if I enter one new, the value will change to 0 and can not be adjusted, only the immobilizer will start flashing quickly, so the IMMOoff
Should the original pin or any data such as IMMO ID be needed

The Counter as you say are my clusters there is nothing complete basis in them and I only put them here if the number of clusters or something is needed
I really need it immo off because the clusters from Seat no longer work and I can't start and the ones I found can't adjust the key

Please HELP.
Here are eeprom and flash files from MM with st10f168.
Can read write eeprom with fvdi.
Flash can be only read by FVDI, cannot write anything.
Tried china piasini 4.3 boot - not works at all (ECU not detected).
Virginize or immo off that file.
Tried to virginise with fvdi, meucci immo decoding, aetool... Nothing works. Car not starts, engine start not allowed.

Hello All,

I need an immo off for my replacement EBAY ECU.
I am using KTAG and have the read files for EEPROM and FLASH.
Car: 2007 VW PASSAT B6 2.0T FSI

Background:

My original ECM had a 5v Driver IC that got burnt and a damaged capacitor on the underside mirror of the PCB (Most likely the cause of failure for the IC).
I was able to transplant the EEPROM chip from my old ecu onto the EBAY replacement.
I tried this option to avoid messing with the IMMO system of my car, no surprise it did not work. I was able to read my original EEPROM and could reference the data. KTAG was not able to read my original ECM (I cant risk trying to transfer the FLASH chip onto the EBAY BOARD).

Process:

1) Physical transfer of EEPROM: START OK....Failure to run (IMMO ACTIVE) was able to REV UP for 1-2 secs (Throttle Control OK)
VCDS Communicated with ECM OK. Checksum Error

2) I replaced the original EEPROM chip from the EBAY ECM. Downloaded E2PA and modified the EBAY EEPROM to IMMO OFF, Corrected CHECKSUM, Copied VIN1, VIN2 Data and Software Coding ONLY (as extracted from my original EEPROM Read)
START OK.....RUN CRAPPY......(IMMO OFF).....Drive By Wire (DBW Control Module Malfunction) P1388 code....NO REV UP over 2000 RPM......

NEXT STEPS:

1) KTAG FLASH back EBAY ECU to original state (FLASH and EEPROM)
Check Throttle REV UP to determine if Throttle assembly is faulty (Doubtful)...Car IMMO will be ACTIVE so NO RUN.
2) Using E2PA FIX EBAY FLASH file, FIX EBAY EEPROM file and IMMO OFF
3) KTAG FLASH Modified EBAY Files (FLASH + EEPROM) then TEST IN CAR.


As a contingency, can you look at my files and properly perform the IMMO OFF or if you can use my original EEPROM read to load IMMO data to the new ECM files so that I can flash and get my baby working again?

1) Transferencia física de EEPROM: INICIO OK .... Fallo al ejecutar (IMMO ACTIVE) pudo REV UP durante 1-2 segundos (Control del acelerador OK)
VCDS Comunicado con ECM OK. Error de suma de comprobación

2) Reemplacé el chip EEPROM original del ECM de EBAY. Descargué E2PA y modifiqué la EEPROM EBAY a IMMO OFF, corrigió CHECKSUM, copió datos de VIN1, VIN2 y codificación de software SOLAMENTE (como se extrajo de mi lectura de EEPROM original)
START OK ..... EJECUTAR CRAPPY ...... (IMMO OFF ) ..... Drive By Wire (Mal funcionamiento del módulo de control DBW) Código P1388 .... NO REV UP más de 2000 RPM ......

SIGUIENTES PASOS:

1) KTAG FLASH devuelve la ECU de EBAY al estado original (FLASH y EEPROM )
Verifique el acelerador REV UP para determinar si el conjunto del acelerador está defectuoso (dudoso) ... El IMMO del automóvil estará ACTIVO, por lo que NO FUNCIONA.
2) Usando el archivo E2PA FIX EBAY FLASH, el archivo FIX EBAY EEPROM e IMMO OFF
3) KTAG FLASH Archivos EBAY modificados (FLASH + EEPROM) y luego TEST IN CAR.


Como contingencia, ¿pueden ver mis archivos y realizar correctamente el IMMO OFF o si pueden usar mi lectura EEPROM original para cargar datos IMMO en los nuevos archivos ECM para que pueda flashear y hacer que mi bebé vuelva a funcionar?

Hi, I have an ecu from a 2019 Hyundai elantra (sim2k-251) that is water damaged, I purchased a new ecu but for some reason it can be neutralized for programming to new vehicle. My question is what mcu/eeprom can I swap for immo data to get vehicle to start? swapping chip is easier for me because I only have clone tools that cant read this ecu.

UPDATE: Newer model Hyundai/Kia Ecu's are one time program only (they cant be neutralized), I had to get used ecu, Key & smartra from scrapyard. I believe that cloning or immo off may be available for these newer ecu's.

you can try to read micro eep and flash and cloning it,
but if micro have otp sector as vw and bmw group you can't clonate it with standard tool.
