Hello, ive been trying to get my 1KZ-TE diesel engine running. This engine was purchased with only the engine, engine harness and ECU (no immo computer, transponder, keys, etc.) I am using this engine in a swap on my older pickup truck.

Based on the ECU, it is from a 2000-2002 Toyota Prado. I have wired the ECU and can get the motor to start momentarily then it dies and throws the 99 immo code.

I had a gentleman flash the eeprom and send back with an emulator that connects to the IMO and IMI ECU pins but it still will not start. Is it possible to immo off without the emulator?

I am waiting for my programmer to arrive in the mail so I can flash the eeprom myself since it will take some trial and error with different .bin files. When I get the programmer, I will desolder the EEPROM and try any files you guys might provide.

I have searched for weeks with no clear answer if this can be done with this ECU.

Now This car is file OK after reset.
-But only DTC code left B2799 in Hybrid Control System.
-Engine DTC no fault.
-Hybrid battery repaired and maintainanced.
-Wire and Connector are OK. Check Finished.
-Security Light off and Steering lock is worked.
- Smart system and lock/unlock OK.
- OBD Jumper 45 minutes finished but engine not start

Please Suggest me, what step are need.
