The chinese version is already released for testing purposes in CHINA. However as my supplier informed me that you will not be able to change the language to english even later. If you want english you would have to ship it back to china.

Well there no device as of yet.. so wouldn't think too much about the adaptors.... but the software if free for whatever models they have... but are leaving the option open to charge for future remotes, at least that is what samic told me.

Probably he can't , but if someone could translate main features and have it written somewhere i guess it can be 100% usable since let's be honest there is not much features in transponder cloning, and for remote generation i guess chinesse don't translate car brands and models, i could be wrong since i have no clue about chinesse language...

Its clearly not just a language issue, that would be done in hours... guess they have stripped the remotes from keydiy so have different remotes for China.

And they see the remotes as the long term return selling the remotes and dont want to release until they have tested the remotes because they dont want the first impressions of things not working hinder their business model, by making people think its not reliable and sticking with keydiy.

personally I think they should disable the remotes if this is the case or release as 'beta' / 'testing'.

I have received the very first batch of VVDI key tool and have been using it over a month or so, the hardware build quality is the best among Mini-900, Handy-Baby , even better than other big brands. the followings are what I discovered

1. ID46 is not ready yet, no cloning chips available.
2.it does not show the decrypted pages for ID46, which can be handy for getting Hyundai pin code , mini900 does show the pin
3. Remote generation functoin is good for most Chinese domestic cars, but coverage for internatoinal market needs further improve.
4.The price of remote key is very affordable and you will get BGA token when you generate 8 remotes
5.The English versoin Only shows the main menu, the other part of functions are still in Chinese, I updated around 17th of March, 2017.
6.it claims it unlocked Toyota smart keys too, only 40 and 80 bits.

overall speaking I am happy with this device given the price, the hardware quality, token for BGA and the ongoing updates

there is a remote renew function but I have not tried yet. But I do try the Toyota 40/80 bits smart keys renew function and it worked for 40 bits at the least , I have not tried the 80 bits smart key reset yet, usually I use tango to reset 40/80/128 bits smart keys.

My seller said that somebody has managed to change the VVDI Key tool from chinese to english. Apparently it is unofficial and so those guys selling the keytool with english have some unofficial software. They said they cannot guarantee that it will update later on.

I have one and tested some stuff and like ray-ray is saying parts are missing, so far works same as cn900mini and i have reset a bmw cas 3 key 868mhz jigs look good and all round i think once renew part is working the tool will be another good one from xhorse ..

The one thing customers want is remote unlocking.
This can be done by VVDI-prog, it was a success.
So much so that they stopped developing unlock software on the vvdiprog and have kept it for VVDIkeytool as a selling point.
Problem is, it has been 7 months since it was announced and there is no tool.

We don't need fancy adapters, soldering 4 wires on is within most of our abilities!

I've said it before and I will say it again.
The first company that releases an affordable solution for remote unlocking is going to make a killing.

The company told us to hold back as Samic has more stuff add. Things don't happen overnight when development are being tested. There was a leak in the company that push the early release in china version. The tool is being work on with 4 other new projects that put it in the back burner. The owner does not care about the money side of thing his concern is to be on top in these trade. We all want a good that work properly at a low cost, otherwise spend 2K on a miraclone that seem to be the best second option. Thanks to these company hard work, you have H.S. key machine, eeprom programmer, Mercedes & Bmw tools and more to come.

I got mine from an American supplier last week. The only thing I've been able to do is renew a BMW E series key. which I was able to do with the VVDIprog already.
So, right now it's pretty much useless but I think it has potential. Give it a few months

Generating remotes results in nonworking remotes - vvdi2 works fine though. Reads transponders just fine - signal reader is fine. Generating ID40 Opel worked ok too.

VVVDI remotes looks like the one from Keydiy.

No, the Key Diy remotes will not work with it.

The remotes are similar but have different firmware and a completely different PCB layout.

Reports from users so far suggest they are not working properly either, doesn't matter how cheap or expensive they are, if they don't work they are a waste of money.

At last!

Looks good...

remotes are diffrent from key diy (see pic)
also gives option to make remote my wireless
(doesn't work yet or wire)
uses the same connector as key diy
wrote a window down ford 433 ok
but not tested

tried to write to a nb att 36 remote (key diy)
but didn't work..

4d clone calculation a bit slow (4 mins)
honda id48 not supported
audi id48 not supported
if 46 generated with a 7936 or a sn02 chip

I want to test what it writes id12 id11 chips to
(hopefully t5) but I didn't get any cloner chips with it
so will have to wait till next week!

If if anybody wants any other testing done then just ask here....

Are those new keydiy ones? I've been shifting over to xhorse (programmed with vvdi2 as that works) as they feel better quality. I also like how the wireless ones can be programmed without plugging them in.
