Astra J 2010 1.6 petrol automatic - AKL - added key OK but engine wont crank (central lock working from remote)
the car was a long time with flat battery
Diagnostic can't connect to ECU - error U0100 - ECU communication faulty
Maybe ECU is falty maybe wirings - If I put ECU from other car without immo off - Can I connect diagnostic to ECU to check that wirings are OK?

have you done it by obd and have you cleared the faults from the restraints and column unit

I erased all possible error codes - with autocom and opcom
U0100 is permanent
I Will try with ECU from other just to check is it wires problem or ECU problem

Today I found out why I can't see the Engine ECU
It's missing (stolen) the Automatic Gearbox ECU and this interrupts CAN connection to the Engine ECU
I think that if I connect CAN wires I will have connection with the ECU and the engine will work
Tomorrow I will try

Today I connected the CAN line and was able to conect to the engine ECU
631678
after that engine still doesn't crank because there isn't signal for parking position from gearbox ECU
then I connected the starter manually with wire to +12 on the battery and the engine sterted from first time
631681
Now must find ECU for the gearbox
