Have to replace ECM Denso He2 and also need to read CEM to get immo info..

I have the Volvo Sync tool software for Synchronization

There should be possible to read the CEM by I/O terminal tool without desolder 28F400, but then I need the PIN code...
I'm not sure which activation in I/O terminal I need to buy... May be Volvo P2 to be activated in Volvo simcard..

Can anyone tell me what and how to do?

Very strange that the software describes exactly the same as your software..?

It's Tango sw, but this work only if tool is genuine.

Hi and sorry for long time to upload files...
Have read eeprom from ECM and flash from CEM. Tried to synchronize, got message that flash needs to be fixed and did so with the Volvo 1.4 sync tool. Then I synchronized. No fault when read OBD by volvo vida, but cannot turn the engine /starter motor. I belive there's other problems.

But if you are able to check the files, then I can write the new files back to CEM.

Have smok jtag for CEM

If there's nothing wrong with the sync or file, there's no need to replace.... There was something wrong with CEM file and the software repair it before sync

For Volvo Old CEM (Gray) you need a VOLVO SIM (For I/O Terminal)
But you need to patch file before! (Need replace PIN with FF FF FF FF FF FF), then you can Read/Write CEM via OBD with I/O Terminal tool.
You need to read CEM before anyway! Can read for example with Smok, USB NT programmer (via BDM) or chip desoldering.

So your mean I have to modify file and I've the file as patch? Or what did you mean?

I/O Terminal V16 can work with old gray CEM only if PIN is changed to FF FF FF FF FF FF
When you changed PIN in CEM, then will posible to read/write with I/O Terminal Volvo tool via OBD.
If you want keep PIN, then need other tool for gray CEM. I/O Terminal Volvo V16 not working with original PIN in CEM.

Yes, press Patch button in I/O Terminal, save it and reflash CEM with it. Then posible to read/write via OBD with I/O Terminal Volvo tool (Need Volvo SIM).
Not a good idea of course, but for old car is ok.
