This is known as dm900 or dm500, silver color, card insert from the side. Also known SuerBox. Boxkey ff ff ... ff. Replace to a Nagra Vision card and it should work.

the seller say is dm500c, but how will i know??
the seller also say i can update the software with null cable but i need to pay USD100+ then he will tell me how to do...

anyone can help me? gone soooo quiet after i post the photo...

If it functions like a DM500c then you only need to use the Null modem port to update the image(The box Operating system) to something else... and ftp to box to change or add stuff.

Im a bit lost here to what people are saying(its a DM900, its a DM500c, its not a DM500c

). So did you not get a users manual with it. Also what you said earlier about DISEqc 1.2.. that is a Sateillite config setting that should only come up on start up on a Sat box

What happens when you turn on the box and try to tune something, do you get free to air channels?

Didn't come here for a while cos mine is working fine n I dunno if I shd buy more for my parents after reading so much problems again lor..

Bro dont bother for dreamup.Your box is dm900 super box make from China.It is not from Dreambox. You only can get your image from the manufacture. Now if you can watch FTA channel means your box is still in working condition THAN the solution is to get the king card/ka wang card(Nagra vision) But if you cant watch even FTA channel, i suggest you dump that box and get yourself DM500C cardless user friendly and plus this forum is discussing about.

my set is in working condition... i have the other blackbox500, cardless now. can use and update thru null and internet cable.
But i did try the dreamup on this problem set, nothing happen at all, maybe it does not have the internet input hole... so just the null cable itself doesn't work.....

zzzzz.... really helpless??

Looks to me like this guy is using a translation site thats giving him bad sentence structure.... I think he's saying the problem box doesn't have an ethernet port, just Null modem

That is why i ask for picture. Fyi blackbox is basicly dm500c.The only different is the casing. Theres another type which China factory own produce call 500cII,this box dont have ethernet port.And this box you cant use dreamup.
