Hi anyone had this problem? i can be watching say sky sports then all of a sudden the channle changes to number 1 as if i have pressed 1 on the remote! i have taken the batteries out of the remote and it still does it once or twice a night. good init i bet nobody has this is it a ghost?

you must have cone of these new boxes the "rumour mill" keep on talking about. they have an inbuilt vm engineer with a walkie talkie passing on info.

if you have a richard branson picture on the wall and the eyes are moving be very careful.

sounds like you have some kind of conflict - apart from that sorry cant help.

LOL wandered what that noise was coming from the box im gonna get the screw driver and let him out!!! cheers have done a re image and all seems better now.

Check you don't have any timed events to 'switch' to another channel.

Menu > Timer

well thought I had fixed it but it?s just done it again but this time it went back to the channel I was previously watching the timer bit is clear, getting paranoid as this box is connected to the internet through a netgear modem is there any way vm can get on box? Disconnected anyway!!! Strange goings on it only started after I put the new rom7 in could this cause it?

I can't see how the new rom would cause this.

I'm sure a reflash will solve it.
