Anyone got a flashing guide for this? I can't quite make out all the instructions in Chinese that dragonhead posted..

Or was that just about channel scanning?

Wonder if we need to ftp any key files or anything..quite scared..

If you dont have the key better don't anyhow update.. hahah
otherwise cannot get back what you lost.
Unless someone here in the forum update before and tell you its safe.

As long can watch ok liao, the firmware is not important
No matter how you update, the interface still look the same. There is limit to this box.

yup, anyway, this box is not bad too. For US120, you get a HD box. Much cheaper than a 800HD. You also get all the channels, except that its not in SH sequence and you cannot customise it to how you want the image to look. Interface is pretty much fixed

Hi Bro up there, any one can help my FYHD800C II after setting
on, only the red light appear no green light for the set to boot

i bought 4 sets and all were working fine until one of them suddenly became like what u described here - red light and tv shows 'no signal'. i am not sure what happened but i am concerned if its something the ISP did which disabled my box. i hope its not, and its just the box konked out. i have contacted the seller in china and she says to come back and change one.

You sure you want to sent back for repair? Cost $$$ and no guarantee will come back repaired. Don't kenna conned. But if she is wiling to do a 1-1 exchange, then good for you, but I doubt so.

Its different from FY800C-II
Do more research and reading in the forum before you commit to buy anything online

Hi All,

So after reading 5 pages, can safely conclude that this HD800C-II which i using now is somehow preset to certain channels?

Coz i also face missing channels and rescan somehow also not working. Also is there a SH Channel Frequency list?
