Trouble with Setting Up Direct Recording

Heres how far I have got

*my dreabox is on net FXP as an eg
* Used The settings from the guide, mount was okay, folder appears as a shared folder on my C drive.
* I start direct recording, the dreambox flashes red, like its recording.
*I stop recording, a menu appearers saying recording stopped (press exit)


I do and no record of what I recorded is anyway. Not in the folder I made or on the dreambox under files mode recorded miovies ?

What am i doing wrong ?

I figured it out, but get a TS file that cannot be played or converted, any point ?

should be able to play via the dreamboxes "file mode" hit menu then choose file mode navigate to /hdd/movie and select the recording u made should start to play bud
