SETANTA WOOHOO! SETANTA WOOHOO! SETANTA WOOHOO!

You want it. You need it. You've been waiting for it. Here it is....

First of all, delete all setanta channels and its associated channels from your bouquets and all services list. associated channels are Celtic, Rangers, Liverpool, MUTV, NASN. Then follow this guide.

    1. Menu, Setup, Service searching, Manual transponder scan.
    2. Enter frequency 00386 mhz.
    3. Check INV box
    4. Check Network Search box.
    5. Start Scan
    6. Look in All Services
    7. Hey Presto!
    8. WHAM!
    9. BAM!
    10. Thank You, Man!

    please note;

I am running on a Dreambox500 but see no reason this wont work for your eurovox or whatever you have. Also This frequency (00386) is for my area of the midlands (cableuk sym6887). Apparently you should be able to find frequency for your area by finding a channel on your list called 'PVR_EPG'. Select this channel and then go into manual scan and make a note of the frequency. Go back into tv mode and select any ordinary channel (bbc, itv, sky1 for instance). Then go back into Manual scan, enter the frequency you have written down, check the INV box, check the NETWORK SEARCH box and start scan. And that should be it. If not on that channel try one of your 'DL PVR EXPLORER' channels.
You may have noticed my use of the word 'Apparently'. I used this word as this method is according to other folks on the forum who say it has worked for them. I have not tried it myself as the first method worked for me. I've only added this second method on the off chance that it will work for you or for your friends/family who live in different areas.
If none of these methods are any use to you then I am sorry for your loss. But don't give up hope, your answer is out there. Somebody will help you. We've all got to stick together in these times of Setanta-less sorrow.
    Good Luck, Happy Hunting.

What are you two rattling on about? The method you describe has been attempted anf reattempted by many people to no avail.
The method i describe worked for me and for others.
Why do you say you can't understand post?
I'm perplexed. You boggle me, sir. Boggle me.

are you sure you werent just suffering from a low signal strength in the first place?
i find that signal strength does vary quite a bit during the day. and i would normally only scan during the nights. no reason why you should get all the channels as everyone else. unless im missing something. (dont use my cable box anymore)

No, signal good. Signal strong like ox.
frequency was changed. lost all setanta and associated.
why do you wish to waste your time and mine by debunking my method?
it worked for me and my brethren. it is the only method that worked for me and my brethren. all this is explained in my original post. please read before criticising. if neither method works for you then that is not my fault. if you have your setanta back via some other method why do you even care about other methods being posted?
there are numerous methods posted by various sources. i have tried all of them. if any more are posted i shan't be looking for them or trying them unless the unthinkable happens again and my methods do not work for me a second time.

You could just do a Brute force scan and it will find em also there was about 15 other channels it found including Arsenal, Liverpool TV Etc...
