Hi everyone, just found out about this forum

have been using my box for quite some time, changing alot of cards before.

recently met with another problem. I just change my card with my supplier and he helped me flash my box.

It came back and was working fine but a few days later some channel start to flicker!! (sports channel too!!) So i did a NIT search and now left with only less than 35 channel to watch. All local channel all dissapear. Please advice what i can do. Thanks a million

Wow... didn't know that AA898 also can flash. He must be a god.

Not sure if he did any thing to you box. As these box should have been in use since 2008 therefore tuner on most set already died. I'm not saying he swop your tuner but there is a possibility.

If you click info button, you are able to see the signal strength & see if they are still the same level as before. If not, your tuner might start giving you problem.

I collected quite a number of the STB, except the antiques models ie CV2011, AA898, 5288.

I even got the earlier analog model, SuperTV using cartridges.

Is this AA898 the one which can program BK of the card?
