how to delete channels 500c?

does anyone know how to delete single channels?

im am runnung 500c with the 1.1 image. Can i do this via the remote? or do i have to use the FTP program?

to delete from all channels 'ok red'
highlight the channel to delete press menu, scroll down to delete and ok on that...
its the same for bouquets too 'ok blue'

if you are deleting form all channels and you have the auto search on,
the channel will come back the next time the box self scans
(top of my head i can't remember how to turn it off)

delete all the channels u don`t wont then go to setup>expert setup and scroll down till u see -disable service updates- tick it.Do another scan.

single delete / addition

Go into bouquettes....select 'red' (all channels) scroll to selected channel press menu button....scroll to required action i.e. add or delete ..press ok...

First off go to menu the select setup
now select parental lock
make sure there is a tick at parental lock now change pin
enter 1234 ok then again 1234 ok and when it says Pin change completed press OK
now select hide locked services and press ok make sure there is a tick there also
Now save
now press exit
now shutdown - reboot now....

Now that parental lock is set up


When you are on your channel list
and you highlight the channel you want rid off select menu
Service Menu should appear
scroll up or down to lock and press ok
that channel should now appear with a padlock at the end of it

Do this with all the channels you want gone!!!!
Reboot after you done that and Bang! the c**p channels are Gone

This allows you to keep channel updates active
