    Hi guys

need some help here please, was getting CA error, box unusable when I last attempted to flash the dm800hd

In the end managed get box to take a flash but it has no cccam and image is pretty crap nablio multiboot image

I've logged into the box and its showing 75 r0 as boot loader, however on the webpage it says Booloader version Dreambox Second Stage Loader BUILD #72, built 20090303 ??

Chap who's box it is tells me the tuner is rev S ? is there such a thing? he's updated tuner under a year ago.

I basically want to update the bootloader so box will take a newer image

Can I just flash any latest bootloader using dreamup / null cable?

And then flash an image ontop?
    cheers

Most clone patched images have the bootloader included so if u r on ssl75, if u flash with ssl82 or ssl84 images, it will automatically upgrade to the latest bootloader.
Most important is find the correct image for yr sim card, else u will encounter ca error again.

        no ca found

so i have the dreaded no ca found, i have thrown everything at this for 3 days solid you name it i,ve tried it. whilst using an old dreamup i managed to get to the point where du waits for ok from the box after the checksum bit, i waited and i waited, but nothing frustrated i pulled the power and quickly plugged it back in. what i am about to post is what came up in du it means nothing to me but maybe it will to some of the more knowledgeable members, and who knows it may provide someone with a proper working solution to this dreaded problem.
