when i watch tv on my dreambox sometimes freezes parts of my screen for a few sec.

what can i do about this ? is it a problem with my dreambox or is it the smart card ?

It heat problem. Either try to put your box on laptop cooler or get a fan,install at the cooler sink that sit on your chipset.If it freeze again sent back for repair or exchange.
