DM500 VLC Streaming

I've set up my DM500C to stream avi files from my PC to my Dreambox via VLC, however, when I start streaming them, the audio is out of sync with the pictures. I've tried mucking about with some of the settings but to no avail. Anyone had this problem before? Any help appreciated.

install version 8.6i and try it, i find its the most stable
