I've installed software and am connected properly because I can control dreambox via FISCstream. However no picture or sound on PC. Also clock displayed working, but the word 'ready' is always showing and so is 00:00

      Any ideas?

EDIT: Very strange. I seem to be able to get this to work about 80% of the time on Bloomberg, and only Bloomberg. WTF
I got same problem as you mate did you solve your problem although I dont even get bloomberg!

I am using enigma 2 image though does this matter?

            my dreambox image dm1.1

finally got this working (under windows 7 64bit) and it works very well, quality is very good.

now i too want to stream over the internet and have tried countless other programs/methods with only FISCstream working (on LAN).

how is this program managing to outdo every other dreambox to pc solution? and by using windows media player wtf?!?!

pls some1 tell us how to properly stream the dam dreambox tv picture over the internet without any hassle, i really have wasted to much time trying to do this. the cricket world cup 20/20 is nearly over, pls help! im stuck most of the time in the office with no access to my pirate cable box so i need access to it pls some 1 help.

'web-x-tv' what a wate of time, spent countless hours/days trying to install/uninstall different versions of vlc just to get the dam plugin to work with no success (really is this some1's idea of a joke cos not funny)

also having very little success with this

I originally had VLC 0.9.9 installed.....with that I did manage to get the odd couple of channels running - tho very tempermental and most would give nothing.

I then tried going down to the old magic vlc 0.8.6i - the Web-x-tv worked on that one at least (well as good as it ever did with its lack of some audio) - but then I got nothing on FISCStream.

I have now just tried going to VLC 1.0.0RC4 and am still getting nothing (in both Web-X-TV and FISCStream)

                fisCstream....

address = your adress on the dreambox
                http port = 80
                user = root
password = dreambox password.(default is dreambox)

press connect and you should be good to go.
double click the image for full screen, press lower case `a` on keyboard for `always on top`.

had no issues with this software yet...works better than all i have tried.

                cp.

I think the problem has jack all to do with VLC anyway

The rare few times it does start playing a stream (sometimes it sits saying Ready with 0 in the counter beside it) - other times it says "Playlist3" or whatever and the counter running and at times no picture sometimes everything.

But I did notice that on bringing it full screen the player controls are media players not VLCs so its possibly linked with the version of media player being used? Mine is WMP 11 on an XP machine. What are you guys who have no problems with it using?

also noticed now...when it does start playing the picture and audio from channel hopping to different channels eventualy at random it kicks in and playlist3 is listed. I can then change backward and forward between the other channels that prev didnt work no problem, Playlist 3 is still worded (presumably cos connection is already open) and just the timer resets to 0

This works well on the dreambox using dk1.1 image, http port I set up as 80 and works better for me than vlc and web-x-tv which was a bit temperamental for me.

I tried this software with a dbox2 but no luck, anyone else tried this and got it to work? Tried various http ports but no luck, guess it is only for the dreambox.

afaik this only works on enigma and not neutrino based images

maybe it will work if you use enigtrino image on your dbox

enigtrino = enigma and neutrino combind

                                The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
