    autoupdate probs

    Hi all
ive managed to read through all the tuts and to my amazement managed to follow instructions quite well.
The only thing im struggling with is how to turn on the autoupdate back on on the dream 500c box - i know its gotta be done through tuxbox - but i think im completely brain drained and cant seem to get anything right on this now - can anyone please help
    much appreciated.
merry xmas and happy new year to you all also.
    thanks

If you can ftp to the box that's better than using tuxbox commander.

Go to /var/keys and edit the camd_cfg file.

    Look for the following section:

    Code:
    # AU
    # 00 is ignored (default)
    # 01 enable AU
    # 02 AU Auto
    A:
    It should be set to A: { 02 }.

If it's not, set it to 02, save the file and restart the emu.

just figured this out myself...copy the file to the desktop and opened with the Console unix utility. These are my settings but I still cannot get up and running

            # AU
            # 00 is ignored (default)
            # 01 enable AU
            # 02 AU Auto
            A: { 02 }

if u referring to the similar problem i had then i did this via the box hooked up to the tv and not the pc - you can do it using the remote control.
