DM500 Any one in the North West willing to set up my box

Hi

I have been given a DM500c and have read most of the sticky s, but still cant under stand what i have to do with them, i have flashed it? i have tried to put files in to it ?, but i don't know if i have now got a door stop, as the power light will not turn to standby and i have no menu when i link it to the TV.

Has any one got a step by step guide on what i need to do ?
better still, any one want to buy the box ?

got the box from a bloke moving to oz, he said he had lost the chanels some time ago and did i want it, i refuse nothing bar blows, and sometime that depends on who is offering, any way, i dont understand all this ftp, flash udate stuff and im lost as to my next move. i have a eurovox that works fine and i know how to do them. if i was to be show then i wil under stand.
