Cable.xml help??

Hi,

Can someone tell me what cables.xml is for??

Will it give me extra channels?

cables.xml is the files that holds all the transponder data and frequencies. When you do an automatic transponder scan, it uses the data in this file.

If it's for the UK then the scanning settings in your image are probably ok and an updated file won't get you any more channels.

I have only recently got my box up and running. Followed the instructions on Digital Koas. Worked first time - fantastic!

A friend of mine also has a box but seems to be receiving more channels, he says its because he used the cables xml file.

Also I have seen people make mention of slow or brutal scan. How do I do this? Will this get me more channels?

i am having probs with the subbed channels, i have the cam running but it won't unscramble the subbed channels.. i have put in the dbox roms in to the keys folder.. but that don't seem to work.. any ideas...??

Are all the magic files in the correct locations?and cam select from yellow or green button?
