500c everything gone. i mean everything!!

my 500c turned itself off. i powered up but all my channels/keys/picons/ everything was gone. i reflashed with my back up but im getting nothing.
a little help? box upstairs is fine

technically its what you called 'dicked'.... Dunno whats best mate, flash erase and try another image (for the sake of a test etc) and see what happens then..? Obviously you need to determine whether you have hardware fault with the box etc..

How are you flashing your backup image?

If it's via Dreamup, remember to choose NO when it asks if you want to perform a flash erase during flash.

If you choose YES it will delete all backed up info.

Smort you should be able to flash any image to your box. if you have a backup of your working image you would be better with that. failing which flash the dk 1.1 image - all the info you need should be in that thread.
