        just one more thing if you dont mind will i just change one of the keys manually to a wrong key to see if it auto rolls after the transfare or what do you think.

              You can check the keylist file periodically and see when the date changes, that's when the keys have rolled.

              If you want to test it auto updating, empty the contents of the keylist file and change channel, it should auto update.

                  just one thing before i transfare the files,were and how do i get to the camd_cfg file to check if its enabled before i transfare the files as it might just be that.

                      on the link witchy2k1 says you can disable and able the au from the gui on the dbox2 which is what i have but can you tell me how i find this,i persume its done at your tv and not on your computer.

                            Just edit the file so that the auto update section says { 02 }, save the file, empty the keylist.txt file, save the file, change channel and wait for it to come on. When it comes on, open the keylist.txt file and see what it's updated to.

                            Menus on images are image dependant, these menus are not on every image, in fact I don't remember an image where I've seen this option, I'm guessing it's a dbox2 you're using.
