Usually caused by bad AC/DC 12V adapter, or simply bad user habits.
I had been advising owners not to simply unplug/plug-back the 12V din-plug for a hard reboot.
            Use the AC main switch.

The pin may cause temporary indifferent voltage drop while plugging back, it would corrupt the firmware.

But in most cases, it is the faulty AC/DC adapter causing the problem, replace it with a stable regulated 12V AC/DC adapter.

                Hi DBTraitor, Francis03

I think I have the same issue as Francis03 from SGP.

I also got a green light on the box but no bootup image at all.

Might have accidentally trip the supply while fixing a new TV.

                1) Do I need to get a USB to Serial converter?

                2) Can PM me the image and guide to do it?

                3) What are the application and version required?

                4) Any pins or password required? I have a blackbox888.

                5) I dowloaded dreamup 1.3.3.4, is it ok?

                Advance thanks for the help!
