    Which Dreambox can use in Philippines?.

    Hi,
    Any knows if i can use my current DM500cii used in Singapore for in the phillipines?.

      I only knew some parts of Metro Manila is still using CableTV signal together with much popular Satellite TV, while most part of the country is using Satellite TV.

      DM500C-II is using dedicated firmware designed with SG provider in-mind, thus there is no way to switch to other provider unless there is other firmware with Philiphines CABLE-ONLY provider which is highly unlikely.

      The option remaining are the DM500S, DM800HD-PVR (DVB-S) and many other set-top-box with DVB-S tuner.

      But only card-sharing option available in most cases, as they had implemented N3 (Provider: Dream Satellite TV).
