how to get into the dreambox code box?

can anybody tell me how to get into dreambox , code box , im not asking for "new codes" i just want to know how to enter the code keys box , on the derambox 500c, i have pressed the blue button , went to var< then to keys, ok that" i cant find (keytext on the list ? anybody want to help . if that is ok to ask for this information , thanks .. ranger...

What do you want to do (enter keys) or (Load a new image??)
Iv'e just linked you in the last post ((( How to FTP ))), Read the links again, there is also info for loading an image, unless thats not what you mean.

i just wanted to know how to enter the keys / codes / i have downloaded dk v 1.1, with a null cable , but still the same . ,all channells scrambled after auto scann, thanks ...

after u have done the scan press the blue button>tuxbox commander>var>keys>highligt keys.txt and press 4 on ur remote(u r now in ur key file)>highlite the line with a wrong key and press ok>change the incorrect number or letter>press ok>press red to save changes 2ice>exit to the clear screen>restart ur cam

thanks for your help scuba, but but when i press the the blue , and open up the tuxbox commander. that opens up a page for me , that is in two halfs with the same list on both sides , ( bin/dev / ect /hdd/ lib/ and so on , and var" / var init/ when i click on var"a new page opens , with a list in two halfs , with a list on eack side , one half is in blue and the other in black, the blue side , has bin / ect/ keys / log/ and so on when i click on (keys) it opens up a blank blue page, with a highlighted box at the top of it , when i press on the 7 or 9 on the remote, a box opens up with, (create new directory in var/keys/)i can enter numbers or letters there, so what do i but in there , ?? thanks for your time and help scuba...... ranger

thanks for takeing the time out to answer me scuba , the problem for me is , that when i get as far as (key ) and ok that, there is no (key txt) showing on screen , so i cant enter the old codes box , i am useing the software version v.1.0 04.06.2008, that i down loaded here , i was looking at u tube, (Dream_dbox key changer .mpg, ) that shows the same way your telling me to do it , the version ,on the flim he is showing is the old version that was in this box, v 2.00, and the menu was different as it is now , should i try down load the old software version , back into the box , and start again,, its just that its not showing (key txt ) on my list only a blank page at that point , . thanks again ranger..

thanks very for the info , and the way into the var keys , i changed the version , back to the old 2.0 . and that gave me the (key txt) back on the menu , so i was able to get back into the code box , , its up and running again , thanks for your help scuba, and every one at this site , ranger
