Recently I tried to install a few plugins eg. Vlcplayer and tried to do streaming from my PC..it keeps giving me the green screen of death. On other occasions, whenever I leave my box on for too long, the whole box will hang at the green screen. Is it a common issue or am I having a defect box?

Believe this is for DM800HD... Encounter error & set will reboot.
Think there are something you install not working properly. You may want to uninstall those additional plugins you install recently to run some test.
It could also be due to your tuner. You can open the top cover as well as rear panel, remove the tuner then plug it back again. If your tuner is out of alignment, it may give you error too.

if you have Tunisiasat addons manager from plugins download the vlcpalyer fixed by me and tell if it works or not
