    DK Image 1.1

Hi All first of all well done on the new image very good, I used to run the DW 2 image, it did not have any problems other than the fact that I was blaming the box for bad audio, it turns out when i loaded this image it cleared up. I also like the shoutcast radio option but this is where i have problems, if i telnet into the DB500 I can ping and resolve any host, but the apps on the box as well as the update options seem to time out, is there any issues with these ?I have evething else working.

On the dm500 the bad audio usually was cleared by unticking the 'fast zapping' in the set up menu.

never knew that, I actually cured it by passing it through a spdif to analog converter and put that through the audio setup, Whats fast zapping for ?

Any Ideas on the fail to connect to shoutcast ?

Reboot the box using the 'reboot now' option in the shutdown menu, then see if the internet features work.

If not, try enabling DHCP, reboot and try again.

Hi I tried that was actually using DHCP, pumped in static addresses just in case, in ifconfig everything that should be there is there, and i can ping www addresses from the command prompt rather than Ip addresses, so i dont know,

Try doing a factory reset and set it up again.

Remember to backup your keys, scce, services and bouquets beforehand though.

Maybe that station is no longer broadcasting???

Edit the /var/etc/stations.xml file and you will see the stations and can add your own.
