Need a bit of advice on bouquets plz

Hi I've recently setup a db500 for a mate and have done a few in the past, all successfully. Problem is I have'nt setup any bouquets for him, I never bother and leave it down to the users to configure. As the channel list is in alphabetical order you can imagine the kind of things his kids are seeing as they look through! Is there a way to ftp a bouquet list into the box, it's in the south London area, or is it best to set them up yourself? Any advice would be appreciated, I've read the sticky about services+bouquets but still feel a bit confused. Thanks in advance.

you can sort them via remote and make them up yourself or you could try dreambox edit its in downloads

Thanks for the reply, I've gone into service organising on the box and have manually started to enter the channels. One thing that I'm unsure of is whether the channel names should come up in a list or whether they are within folders with obscure names as this is what im getting. Basically I have to enter a folder to discover the name of the channel inside it and then add it to bouquet, go up a folder and repeat for every service. Is this normal or should I have copied something else onto the box when I first flashed it?

Just download a working services file for your area mate, it's far quicker.

Cheers mate, tried to install a services + bouquet file for south east london but cant find a dreambox 500 enigma file. I found a neutrino set but I dunno how to convert them, tried the sticky but still a bit confused. I can't find a enigma set with south londons freqs, any ideas?

If you can't find the bouquets for your area you can always do it manually. It takes a bit of time (20 min max) but at least you have it at your own taste. Sometimes you have to modify some bouquets because you prefer other channels being up or down in the list. It's a once off, make sure you save them after in your computer just in case. Or make an image backup which it should include the services and bouquets.
