DM500c c/s capable not a doorstop anymore!

I hope people have kept there boxes its been awhile since we have heard any good news about these boxes however these boxes are just as good if not better than the KV780's, Reason is there caple of running Priv c/s servers rather than locked down to a mass c/s that ocasionaly fails.

I have been trying to track down a priv server for months now and have not had much luck until a few days ago a guy who knows a guy got me up and running just by sending me a cccam.cfg file, now im up and running great,

The most anoying thing i was trying to use the dk 1.1 image for dm500c, i just could not get cccam addon installed kept giving me problems, so i ended up reverting to a dm500s image with cccam 2.0 pre installed then overwriting the cccam.cfg file, and bang all up and running,

So keep your chins up people theres light at the end of the tunnle for dm500c box's you just have to look around

I understand where u comming from as i have sky to, however where i am based we cant fit a sky dish to our building making it a big problem to have sky, so cable is my only route while i am there,

To be honest tho i am very happy with the price and compared to freeview its good viewing for the cash,

And im sure theres lots of people that are in the same position as me i agree i would go the sky route as they do offer more channels for the price but beggers cant be choosers .

l know its working but most are getting m8s to get and extra box added in there home and giving it to them to use in there house , better box with all the extras for a tenner amonth too or give them 20 amonth and help pay there bill

The guy has c/s running on cable and your on spouting rubbish with regards to him not getting half as many channels as you can with sat.

Sky offer a more comprehensive digital TV package: you can get 265 channels with even the cheapest package, compared to just 45 with Virgin's TV size M

Sky does have more channels than cable and there are more CS servers for Sky than Cable. However, some people cannot get Sky for various reasons, so want to get cable channels.

BTW, you can use a D-Box2 with a cable share as well as a DM500.

For the People that are not allowed to have a dish, there is now a ray of Hope, The European court has decided that access to information is a human right and supersedes and restrictive contract from a Landlord or Local Authority.
