DM600 Line 147 discriptor not found in discriptor cache 1805c4b1!!!!!!

I am having the following Fatal Error message on a 600PVR with the CLi image.
Box been working fine for ages. But today started getting this message and box won't work.
I have tried reflashing, but no joy. Seems fine when I put the Firmware back on, but wont with an image loaded. Anybody any ideas what the issue is or how to fix it. Cheers.

Run Hyperterminal on your PC with a null modem cable connected and set the com settings to the following:

        dreambox_hyperterminal.JPG

Reboot the box and it should say 'DREAMBOX DM600-PVR'.
When the following text is displayed, press backspace on the keyboard.

        Code:
        Linux/PPC load: console=null root=/dev/mtdblock5 rootfstype=squashfs ro
Add the following on the end.

        Code:
        console=ttyS0,115200
        So now it should read...

        Code:
        Linux/PPC load: console=null root=/dev/mtdblock5 rootfstype=squashfs ro console=ttyS0,115200
Press Enter and the box will boot but will show you what it's doing in the hyperterminal window. When it reboots you will see what error occurs.

I managed to get the gemini image up and running on the box and all looked fine, but then the error message came back and the box froze.

the message is more or less the same, this time it's,

Line 122 descriptor not found in descriptor cache . .

on the gemini image it takes 10 - 15 minutes to happen

on the CLi image it takes about 5 seconds

Devilfish, I seem to have the box working OK on the Gemini 460 image with evo 2.17, dunno how I did it, I have been messing with the box all day and I done the hyperterminal as you said and a factory reset and the problem was there after but then seems to have gone after a reboot, been good now for a couple of hours. is the hyperterminal thing a fix or just a diagnostic run.

anyway, touch wood, it will stay working..

I have attached the copies of the hyper reads, but it was a little different from what you said, maybe because I did it on the gemini image and not the CLi.

Line 153 discriptor not found in discriptor cache

I'll try it again later and try get some more hyperterminal read-outs . . .

                            it seems to be ok,

I posted on the CLi site and got a reply from them saying that it is nothing to worry about, that it is something that appears sometimes after a crash or bad shutdown and will correct itself after a few reboots, and it seems to have done that . . cheers all.

HeLP me too please, im at my wits end :-(

                              Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone can help with this issue again as my 600c has developed this problem. Ive rebooted loads of times but it hasnt corrected itself. If I start the box up without the cable feed attached then there is no errors (apart from no progs to watch ) but as soon as i connect the cable feed up pops the fatal error message :-( any help would be appretiated. Thanks
