I am looking for DM800HD for singapore use as u guys know. but i been searching high and low reading and googling. I do not know which site is reliable or can it even be bought in singapore. Any kind soul can help me with that pls ....

Wahhhh... looked through doesn't look real to me... btw wats the market price for a DM800HD to be use in SG .... I really keen after i saw my frens place having one but not HD ...

If you looking for a cheaper DM800HD, then it will be clone set from China. If you want original one, then its expensive.

Quality will be the different. The China set is working too. Most of the bro here is using China made. I think the only worry problem is the heat. That why some ppl just replace the fan for the heat sink or add another one to it. For me, i leave the top cover open so better ventilation.

Whao... but other than heat ... in terms of the channels and quality is it ok? ... i am trying to get it to recieve HD channels from S*****b ...rather than getting another STB in my room...
I heard its Cardless now ...means no expiry right?

I guess the heat is unavoidable because of the box is small and the processor is below the tuner and Hard drive if you install it. The tuner itself is already hot and Hard drive. So you imaging the fan draw the air which is hot and blow to the processor heat sink.

Channels quality for me is acceptable compare to 500C. I like this set as you can do recording or time shift just like hubstation. I'm not sure how high the standard in your case. 800HD can receive the HD channels.
yes, it cardless for this set. No expiry unless SH change the key and then we will need to follow.

I am new and thinking of getting a setup box too. Any recommendation for a cheap HD box?

Should I get the ready to use, plug and play set?
Or
Get any set and flash it?
