I have a new 500c unit that won't worked. I tried to run the Dreamup software and it is saying to turn the 500c unit on even when its on. I tried the COM port and the ethernet port. The software just isn't loading. Ran the software on another box and it worked. A friend who claim to know about these boxes told me that the unit may require Jtagging. I am a newbie to these boxes but I would like to have access to further info to make the unit work. Please help!

Keep the box powered off before it tells you to turn it on.
Make sure you use a null modem cable and not a serial or rs232 cable.
