    DM500 ftp cables-xml file

    evenin all, was messin with some images today and was tryin to put below file on one can someone please point me in the right direction as to where in image to ftp to... and do i have to remove file already there, thanks

    used this file in a 600c, went in var>etc

      The current file is in /share/tuxbox but it's read-only.

      If you want to add your own, it goes in /var/etc.

        Hi guys thanks for replies, so when i add these and rescan on the dk img for example and i choose a particular area from list to scan will it pick up the different freq from there or do i have to add an area to the list, thanks

          The box uses the cables.xml file in /share/tuxbox normally. When you put on in /var/etc, the box uses that one. So whatever scanning options you have put in the new one, it will use them after the box is rebooted.

            thanks for that m8, sometimes its too easy to just put it where ur told to and it works, im tryin to understand a little bit more on how certain things work...bit by bit.. thanks for ur time Devilfish
