    DM600 VLC Plugin on 600T

    Hi all,

I am wrecking my head trying to get the vlc frontend plugin on my 600t with a gemini image to link to my pc to watch downloaded avi movies.
I have searched and found lots of guides, but ~~~~ed if I can figure out how to get it working.
If anyone has a simple guide on this I would appreciate it,
it must be simple enough surely...

I have the VLC loaded on my box and on my pc, how to I get them to see each other . . . .

my main aim here is to play my downloaded avi movies from my pc to my telly via the dreambox.
everything is hardwired networked and I have the pc set as a mounted on the dreambox.

can this be done, via vlc or any other way . . . .

ok, have followed tuts and treads on here and got it connected and working, but the quality is very poor.

      1. no sound at all
      2. picture a little poor and glitchy, but not much
      3. picture size bigger than tv screen

I.ve tried everything and changed a lot of settings, but can't improve any of the above.
I've had it working on vlc 0.9.6 & vlc 0.8.6 and it is the same on both.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Or if vlcf just isn't up to it, let me know and what else is there to try.

Or just reply with how the weather is, so I'm not just a sad ~~~~er all alone on my own tread . . . . . .

The weather is cold today. We even had some snow yesterday.
