    DM500 HELP

    Hi anyone can help? when i try to click connect on the Dreamup, a message said" unable open com-port,aborting". I have my null cable connected.

    there should be a couple of ports to select in a drop down list on the dreamup window, try each one and you should find one that works . . .

      there only Com1 for selection.

        i have already asked you wether your box is unplugged when you connect. i will ask again.
        if it is plugged into the power supply, unplug it and try to connect again.
        untick the network box
        if it doesnt connect when there is no power to the box, try a different version of dream up

          Hi, I have unplug all the cables, only the null cable is connected from pc to my dream box. the network box is also untick. But still the same message

            try a different version of dreamup. are you using a proper null modem cable or a usb to serial converter?
