what server would you suggest be added to the box

the gemini image has the gemini server in and another option to add an address for another server, is this something worth doing and if so, which server would be good....

The files on the server need to be packed with the specific install and uninstall scripts. Depending on the creators, the scripts are different. Generally, one addons server won't work with other images so there's not much point in the additional server option to be honest.

I guessed as much, so as you say whats the point in the option

Some people use more than one team's add on server for their downloads. Lets say the Nabilo team bring out a lot of very handy plugins or downloads but you don't want to use their image than possibly you could insert their server in this option and carry on using the Gemini image.

The problem with that is, the gemini team use the extention _delfile or _delete (can't remember which one) in their uninstall scripts and other teams use _remove so the image wouldn't know how to remove the plugin once it's installed, you'd need to ftp manually and remove them yourself.

I might give thia a go an see what works or doesn't, I can always delete them via ftp...

where can I find the server addresses .
