Freezes since 23 Dec Key Change

Since the auto key change 23 Dec any channel that i watch for sometime freezes and then i have to go to another channel and go back again to make it work again i dont know why this is happing never happened before and i know it isnt a signal problem can any1 help ?

how do i change the ucodes on a dreambox 500c?

? thought you'ld said you did it already?
To change the ucodes press blue button go in to settings then go to ucodes selection, go to ucode 001a and press ok then restart your dbox. If this does not work try one of the other ucodes.

no mate i dont. i've literally this second give up looking in the tuxbox and on the web. cant find anything mate. witchy will be along in a min no doubt to fill you in

There are no ucodes on a dreambox.

Are you using MGCAMD as the emu? If so, switch to evocamd. Mgcamd is known to cause freezing issues.

If you are using evocamd, check the SNR % in MENU > INFORMATION > STREAMINFO > RIGHT > RIGHT. This needs to be about 96% for optimum viewing. I'd say lower than 92% you will get freezing. In this case, you'll need a signal booster. Try connecting the box to the main feed temporarily to see if the SNR % increases and the freezing stops, if it does, you'll need a booster.

that happened to me around a year ago. I was using mgcamd. When i changed to evocamd 2.12 all problems were gone. Sometimes the picture looks like step by step (slower), but when i restart the cam everything comes back to normal.
Which cam are you using??

im using ecocamd 2.12 and used 2.17 before to i think its all sorted now changed the feed adaptor so hopefully should be fine
