DM500 Quiet audio with VLC frontend plugin

Exactly what the title says, you can turn it up few notches to actually hear something, but the noise is terrible.

On PC I have 086d VLC player

Edit: So far I've concluded, it crashes when bigger file (~700mb) is opened, audio is terribly low and the new version of VLC player crashes as well..

    Any ideas?

    Hi Mate,

It's because the frontend volume is set at 50% as default.
When playing a movie press OK and then the blue button to turn up the volume.

    Hope this helps!

      Great, that worked!

Now one more question, can I rewind any faster? VLC player crashed so now I have to use the blue button to rewind all the way.

Not sure what you mean about rewinding etc...

The only way I know how to do it is 'seeking' using the numbers.

For example if you press the number 5 you should get a message saying 'to seek 5 mins reverse press red and to seek 5 mins forward press blue.

If you press blue it will go 5 mins forward etc....

However if you press another number it should add the time together so that you can seek further.

If you press 5 and then press 5 again it should say to seek 10 mins etc... (5+5 =10)

        I hope that makes sense!!

If you seek to far forward or backward it does tend to crash. I usually do it in 10 minute intervals.

Press yellow to pause as well.

You mentioned you were using version 0.8.6d of vlc. I've found I get much more stable results using version 0.8.6c

        Hope this helps!
