hi all , i hope someone can help the green light is on on my box but nothing on my screen , does this mean i have to flash !

try having a look here first,
i understand you want your box fixed but we are not your 24hr free support team,this is an online community and people just coming to ask for help without even an intro may often get over looked, if you can make a bit of an effort then im sure your questions will be answered.
your lucky your here as other forums would have gone for the kill. we wont but effort is required both ways.
