DM500 Cable & sat sharing

Guys is it possible to share from a cable box to a sat box?

I was wondering if my frined and I could use is cable box to my sat box as i dont have cable in my area is this possible?

I think Dream Multimedia are bringing out a new box which has cable and sat tuners....
you can run one image off its internal mem and the other off a usb memory stick...so I believe it would be possible with this setup...
