Need HELP for my DM 500C

Hi man, I have manage to backup my friend image and flash it to my box. But the problem is all the channels that were scanned, are blank. I manage to got the channels but was a blank screen. And also the channels is not in order. there is a key update on the addon. But was unable to update. Massage: "Connection failed, please check the Lan connection" I have check my Lan connection, also change my box gateway to my modem IP. DHCP also tick. But after saved the Lan setting, the IP automatically changed. There is a parental lock which I have no password to access also. Please help.....

did you do the backup with dreamup (using null modem cable) or flashwizardPro (using ethernet cable)?
the channels should not be blank, the channels should be all in the same place as your friend (and probably the bouquets too). If you go to all services all channels should be there, if not, try to do a full scan and see if you pick up some services.
DHCP should be untick. And LAN settings only should change when you flash your box (if your friend's box settings are different)

Hi Trickykid, I have used "Dreamup"(Using null cable) to backup my image. The channels went blank. When I try to use "Flashwizard Pro", a message came out:"Invaild password and login". I have check the IP:192.168.1.101,Crossover ethernet cable. Everything is correct. Login:root, Password:dreambox. I think my friend box is lock. If it is, any alternative to solve it? My local service provider is using Nagravision. When I do a scan, I got the channles(Which are not in order) with blank screen. It seen like the key is not updated. So I try to update the key using the "Key update" in the pluggin. When I try to update, a message:"Connection failed, Please check LAN connection". DHCP was tick because I need internet connection to update the key.My friend's box also cant see when the key scamble last month. After connected to internet and updated the key, all the channels are there again. But the problem is, now my friend's box also cant update his key. Everytime when trying, a massage: "Connection failed, Please check LAN connection". Please HELP ME!!!

I've tried using 500c to scan for transponder but there were none found. I'm in Singapore. anyone can help? Thanks!

i use pace box that uses nthl card in ireland Currently scrambled How do I reprogramme the card? My friend that uses chhorus box still has his box working!

hi all, im also facing the same situation as louiz. i have an existing 500c which i bought it off a friend's friend but somehow its either the userid and password has been change and most importantly even the serial port doesnt seem to be accepting connection from dreamup. is this possible? i wanted to do a backup of the image but i am just unable to access into the box. any suggestions on how to break in? i have already gone through all the various guides and in fact tried different image from pli to dk and yet still cant get the channels after scanning. i believe this is because of the frequency we use locally here.
