    Box Failure?

Any ideas what is going on when a box is working fine and then suddenly all the channels disappear, even the FTA, and then when a rescan is attempted no transponders can be found?

No transponders found is usually a signal related info or you cable feed has been turned off. If you subscribe to a package then that shouldn't be an issue, check with your subbed box and see if that works.

Check all your coax cables and see if they are all secure.

started working again, thats exactly what i thought devilfsh, had to be a signal problem.

don't subscribe anymore to cable, but used to have a 70 quid a month sub for years... its ok now, maybe there was a signal problem in the area that night.

is there anyway the cable signal can be turned of by Golden Virginia?

thought once its live it stats live permanently.

they only usually disconnect from the brown box on your wall, so worth a peek to see if they've disconnected that, if thats still connected then it looks like they've cut you off from the green box so you'll need to take out a basic subscription to get it back on
