    what else can i do with my dreambox???

    can anyone tell me whatelse i can do with this box of tricks as am interested to find out.....

    You can...

    Stream Mp3 from your PC
    Stream movies from your PC
    Record to a shared folder on your PC
    If your box is connected to a router, you can get plugins to view the weather, RSS news feeds, internet radio.

      Also play internet radio, shoutcast, etc.

      Dreambox is a linux system, so you can even read and write emails if you want

        l send the wife messages home from the web interface that pop up on the tv screen and l can watch the dreambox at work if l want

          how do you set it up so you can view it remotely and send messages to the TV screen ?

            check here tomorrow m8 when kaos is here .. u have to be connected to a router or a internet bridge . cant remember the router settings now its been a year or so .. u need a fast connection on the remote pc about 10 to 20 mb to work , u can send messages on less
