Adding New Channals to DM500 C for Cable

All,

Any one knows how to add new channals in Dreambox DM 500c?

1. I want to add channals from india and Afghanistan.(How)
2. Channal names are for india, Z.TV ,Z.cinema and etc
3. Channals for Afghanistan called, ariana T.V, Tola T.v and etc.
4. Is it possible? yes or No
5. If yes how and a little guide would be helpful

Note: I do have ESPN sport and channals from UK, Itlay,Spain,U.S.A but how i can add for country mentioned above?

You can only get the channels that the cable company transmits.

VM does show Zee TV and Zee Cinema but not the others that you mention.

what is the abbreviation for (VM) and how do i do that in order to watch Zee TV and Zee Cinema?

I live in Switzerland and the Cable company called (Cablecom)

VM - Virgin Media - UK cable company, I assumed you were in the UK.

The same applies, you will only get the channels which are transmitted by your cable provider. Scanning for channels using the appropriate symbol rate should get you all the channels.

Sorry I'm unable to help you further as i'm unfamiliar with Swizz cable.

If you had a Satellite dish you could pick up a few channels from Afghanistan mate, but you would need a Dreambox 500S.

Many Thanks, yes i know.Hotbird 13E or West.Frequency i dont know by heart.

I heard the easy way would be over Cable. Now i realized that it is not possible over Cable.

With Sat.Dish i was told dreambox would be a complex to program. Now i am a bit sad.

It's not really mate, it's certainly not as straight forward as the Cable version but it's still fairly easy.
