    500C VOD?

    Hi All.

First post newbie, so it is probably a question asked before. I am thinking of getting a 500c in order to put in the bedroom and I wondered if I can get Virgin's Video on Demand Service on it?

    Cheers

No, as the dreambox works on no feedback for obvious reasons.

I guess that must be the same for all boxes then - or is there an alternative?

I dont want to lose the catch up tv option on VM

no m8 you wont get on demand on a dodgy cable box you can however get certain proggies broadcast on bbc i player

quick edit you can get a box to use as a pvr to record programs to watch at a l8r date though instead of on demand, i pay virgin ?5 per month for a tv service and split my connection to my dreambox this enables you too keep your on demand anyways

          You can.

          Sort of.

You can piggy-back onto the frequency if someone else in your area is watching one, but you have no control of when the movie starts or ends, you cannot order your own movie all, you can do is watch what they are watching, if they pause it and go for a shit then you have to wait until they come back and unpause it.

It's useless and not worth bothering with.
