Hi I accidently deleted the passwd file, now i cannot access my dreambox via cifs and i also cannot telnet to it, i cant install tuxbox commander as its not available in the addon download manager? My image is nabilosat blackhole. any ideas?

Which model are you talking about?
There is an option that you can try. Get another box to do a backup to a shared directory in your computer or a Network Attached Storage. Use the same path to restore it back to the box that you have deleted the passwd file. You will have back passwd file. The password will be the box that you use to backup.
